AI Crawler Check does not collect, store, share, sell, or transmit any personal data or browsing data. There is no analytics, no tracking, no account system, and no remote server of any kind.
When you click the extension icon, and only when you click it, the extension does three things on the tab you clicked:
robots.txt file.llms.txt file, if one exists.All three are public files that any visitor to the site can request. The extension reads them, works out the result, and shows it to you.
Entirely inside your own browser. Nothing is sent to the developer, and nothing is sent to any third party. The extension has no backend to send anything to.
Nothing. The extension keeps no history, no logs, and no local database. When you close the popup, the result is gone. It does not retain the URLs you checked.
activeTab — grants access to the tab you clicked the icon on, so the extension can read that site's URL and fetch its robots.txt and llms.txt. It is granted per click and expires with the tab.scripting — used to read meta robots tags out of the current page.The extension requests no host permissions, does nothing in the background, and does not run on tabs you have not clicked it on.
The extension handles none. It does not access cookies, form fields, passwords, page text beyond meta robots tags, browsing history, bookmarks, downloads, or your identity. It does not use or transfer data for advertising, credit assessment, or lending. It is not used or transferred for any purpose unrelated to its single stated function.
The extension collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
